Nurture@Home is a local home-based childcare service that covering the Nelson Tasman and Marlborough regions providing boutique early childhood early learning & care through our team of nurturing Educators who are infused with a love of learning; providing safe, heart-led, loving, respectful and stimulating environments for all children to blossom. We believe Home is where the Heart is and that the child is at the Heart of the matter, working in partnership with whanau to support each child to achieve their full potential.
Need Childcare?
Our passionate team of heart-led Educators are carefully chosen and whom we believe will provide the level of nurturing care we expect! All of our Educators are safety checked and are genuinely passionate about providing quality early childhood care and education.
Our Home Educators/Kaipoipoi work from their own homes with a maximum of four children, creating a positive, nurturing environment and provide a rich programme to support each child/tamaiti to achieve their full potential.
Our Nanny Educators/Kaipoipoi attend to your childs/tamaiti needs, supporting their learning and development in the comfort of the childs/tamaiti own home. Nanny Educators/Kaipoipoi can also work alongside the families/whanau in a support role.
Our FREE Playschools
Children learn best through play and that is why we provide two Nurture@Home Playschools EVERY WEEK during term time.
Playschools provide lots of socialisation opportunities for children and adults and our Playschools are open to anyone in the community so you are welcome to join us.
We are licensed by the Ministry of Education and passionate about our active programme of activities full or rich learning experiences. Time and time again research shows that group size and child to adult ratios are key factors in quality outcomes for children. Providing tamariki with the opportunity to unfold and learn at their own pace and develop to their fullest potential.

Enjoy the benefits of being self employed, make life-long friendships and a great income all while being involved in children’s learning as part of a great team.
Working as an Educator with Nurture@Home as your support network you become part of a fun, nurturing and professional team, caring for children in your own home as an at-home Educator or in the families home as a Nanny Educator. You can choose to work part-time or full-time and choose hours to suit your own family.

NatureFocus
At Nurture@Home Childcare & Education we are passionate about supporting children to connect with nature and Papatuanuku.
At our weekly NatureFocus the environments offer a variety of possibilities for exploring, planning, reasoning & learning as the children are able to study, discover, investigate and search. Developing a sense of belonging in their community and an attachment with nature.
At Nurture@Home Childcare & Education the children’s relationship to Papatūānuku is based on whakapapa, respect and aroha.

We kicked off the Big Heart Appeal in the best way possible – with a fun, energetic Bike-a-Thon that had us all moving, laughing, and bonding as a team. 🚴♀️💨
Our tamariki were absolutely buzzing with excitement as we learned together about how important it is to look after our hearts. They were so eager to talk about what makes our hearts strong and healthy! 🫶 It was truly magical seeing them come together to celebrate the beauty of heart health and physical activity. 🌟
We ventured through mini roads, cheered on some live racing, and then, the highlight of the day – our very own lap around the velodrome! 🎉🏅 We were all proud to cross the finish line and earn our heart medals, a sweet reminder of the care and love we put into looking after our hearts.
We wrapped up the morning with a refreshing treat of juicy watermelon 🍉 to cool off! A perfect ending to a morning full of fun, learning, and connection ❤️
Big hearts, big smiles, and a whole lot of energy – we’re so grateful to be part of such a meaningful experience❣️
