Testimonials

Nicki is so kind caring, gentle but also fun!

“I put my daughter in with Nicki when she was 15/16 months old and it was the best choice I could have made. My daughter only goes 2 days a week but she settled in so easily and quickly as her educator / kaipoipoi is so kind caring, gentle but also fun! Nicki made my daughter and I both feel so comfortable from the get go! This was so important to me as I just had a new baby and was so worried about how my daughter would get on with so many changes happening.

The experiences they get with nurture at home is awesome, such a cool environment for our tamariki with lots of exciting activities. I love how they experience time with their familiar small groups and get the chance to experience learning with large groups of tamariki too. The communication between parent and educator is such an underrated part of this childcare service. I love reading the learning updates from her teacher and seeing the photos of my daughter experiencing new things, learning, making friends and having fun. Definitely recommend placing your child with one of the awesome home based educators that work for Nurture at Home. I couldn’t be happier”

Today's Playschool was a vibrant haven of creativity & connection, where tamariki thrived in a positive, supportive environment, crafting ANZAC poppies, immersing themselves in stories, and forging bonds with peers.

Outdoor exploration was in full swing, with children unleashing their potential on the extended bike track, engaging with balls, and transforming the sandpit into a hub of culinary creativity with baking resources, shovels, and rakes, fuelling collaborative adventures 🚲.

NatureFocus was full of adventure 🌿

We climbed grassy hills and slid back down, discovered insects, spotted piwakawaka, and explored seeds and chestnuts. The tamariki gathered treasures to create their own pretend fire, letting their imaginations lead the way.

I love seeing the children take charge of their play—working together, building friendships, and learning through shared experiences. With Papatūānuku providing the space and resources, there is so much to celebrate.

We finished by sharing our waiata, acknowledging the land and our connection to the atua Māori. A beautiful way to honour where we are and what we have 💚
