Visiting Teacher – Nelson
Kia ora, I’m Kirsty, and I’m delighted to be part of the Nurture team as a Visiting Teacher in the Nelson region. With over 20 years of experience in the childhood sector, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of roles, starting with Playcentre, where my journey as a kaiako began. I’m passionate about delivering a nature-inspired learning approach, which perfectly aligns with the Nurture philosophy. I believe that by embracing the natural world, we can foster a sense of wonder, curiosity, and joy in our tamariki, setting them up for a lifelong love of learning. As part of the Leadership Team for Nurture@Home, I feel deeply privileged to be supporting quality childcare and education that nurtures the whole child – body, mind, and spirit. I’m committed to working closely with our Educators, providing guidance, and sharing my expertise to ensure that our tamariki receive the best possible start in life.
