Visiting Teacher – Nelson
Hello I’m Mandy, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the Nurture@Home Leadership Team as a Visiting Teacher. With many years of experience in Early Childhood, including leadership and teaching roles, I’ve developed a deep passion for delivering high-quality care for our most precious tamariki – our infants and toddlers. At the heart of my approach is a commitment to relationship-based care and learning, where we prioritise building strong, meaningful bonds between Kaipoipoi/Educators, children, and their whānau. I’m a strong advocate for small group care, which allows us to provide a more personalised, attentive, and respectful experience for each child. As a Visiting Teacher, I’m dedicated to supporting and empowering our Kaipoipoi/Educators to be their authentic selves, embracing their individual strengths and passions. I believe that by doing so, we can maintain a community of motivated, passionate, and nurturing educators who are committed to delivering exceptional care and education.
