Kia ora, my name is Nicole, and I provide a loving home-based childcare service through Nurture@Home in the Brightwater area of Nelson.
I believe in giving children the freedom to explore at their own pace, follow their interests, and make discoveries that help them build independence and creativity from an early age. My approach is to provide unwavering support, care, and reassurance throughout this journey, helping children develop strong, trusting bonds with me as their Educator. I’m committed to creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow.
Outside of work, my main hobby is being involved in the exciting world of Speedway! I have a deep passion for classic cars and enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. I also dedicate time to volunteering within our community, including at the Wakefield Youth Hang-Out and the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, where I’ve had the privilege of mentoring a younger child for the past three years.
I love to offer children plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and exploration in natural environment as I believe that nature-based activities provide rich sensory experiences which help children to build resilience and curiosity.
